Use the ‘Plan’ section to obtain a journey plan for a selected From & To Station. The routing engine in QMAPPS quickly generates the shortest journey plans (by time) using the fewest interchanges. There are no settings to manage and you do not need an internet connection to use journey plans.

Getting a Journey Plan

Choose a From and To Station, once you have done this select either ‘Itinerary’ or ‘Show on Tube Map’.

Selecting itinerary will display a station by station list with the lines you can take between them. Interchanges are also displayed in the list. The itinerary shows the journey time based on real times and  the number of interchanges

Selecting Show on Map

displays and highlights the from station, interchanges and end station using coloured circles on the tube map. A green circle is used for the From Station and a red for the To Station. Tapping the ‘Move Next’ button will centre the map through each interchange and to the end of the route, once the at the end the button changes to ‘Move First’, tapping again will centre the map on the From Station.

Double tap in a white area of the map to remove all journey plan highlight circles.

Tip: You can choose stations on the map as your From and To Station, single tap the station and select a button from the action menu.
